French toast

Ingredients:
Eggs |
| 2 |
Milk (Any Variety) |
| 1/2 cup |
Vanilla Extract |
| 1/4 Tsp |
Cinnamon Sugar |
| 1/2 tsp |
Butter |
| 3 tbsp, divided into 3 pieces |
Bread (White or Brioche is best) |
| 6 slices |
Tools:
Shallow bowl |

Measuring cups |

Measuring spoons |
| |
Whisk or fork |
| |
Frying pan (10 inches is best) |
| |
Silicone brush (Optional) |
| |
Spatula |
| |
Directions:
- Crack eggs into the shallow bowl.
- Use measuring cups to add milk.
- Use measuring spoons to add vanilla extract and cinnamon sugar.
- Use whisk (or fork) to beat all ingredients until combined.
- Preheat frying pan on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1 tbsp of butter; allow to melt while spreading evenly with a silicone brush. Can tils the pan around to spread butter without the brush.
- Soak bread in the egg mixture, first on one side, then the other. Place on the frying pan and repeat with a second piece of bread.
- Cook bread 3-6 minutes or until golden brown, then use spatula to flip bread on the other side and cook for an additional 3-6 minutes.
- Remove bread from pan
- Add another piece of butter to pan and repeat steps 7 and 8 until all bread is cooked.
- Serve French Toast with maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Toppings:
Fresh berries, bacon, and even eggs make great additions to this recipe. You can also try adding chocolate syrup or whipped cream.
