Peel

To remove the skin from a food.

Slice

To cut a fruit or vegtable into chuncks of similar size

Dice

To take sliced pieces and cut them into tiny pieces

Chop

To mince a food.

Shred

To use a grater to shread food into small strips

Stir

Spin a spoon around in a mixture to combine to combine the ingredients

Whisk

To combine a mixture using a whisk instead of a spoon.

Melt

To take certain solids and put under heat, until they become a liquid

Toast

To put heat onto bread untill in becomes crispy, or changes color.

Boil

To heat up water until it is hot and bubbly.
